Pre-Assembled Cedar Shingles

> For each new course, position the first Shingle-Strip anywhere in the course.

 

> Align the left edge of the first Shingle-Strip in each course with the Edge Guide in the previous course (12" offset).

 

> Continue installing Shingle-Strips to the left and right, working toward the corners.

If the course crosses a window, door, etc., align the first Shingle-Strip on the other side with the previous course.

 

> To install partial Shingle-Strips (cut-offs), position the section so the numbers in the overlapping rulers are continuous.

When properly installed, all keyway joints between shingles will be offset at least 1-1/2" over 3 courses.

NOTE: The YouTube video currently online is for an older version of the product that used "A" and "B" panels. You should not follow the installation instructions in this video. The new version of the product is much easier and does not have A and B panels.
